Panola Sheriff’s Deputies step into new roles, new members sworn in

The Panola County Sheriff’s Office has recently announced several personnel updates, bringing both seasoned law enforcement professionals and new faces into key roles.
David Jeter, who began his law enforcement career with the Panola County Sheriff’s Office in 1979 and retired in 2013 as Chief Deputy, was officially sworn in as a Reserve Deputy. Since retiring, he most recently served as Chief of Police for Tenaha ISD.
Deputy Hollie Mojica has transitioned from her role in Courthouse Security to become the office’s new Civil Deputy.

Deputy Chris Adams, who previously served as Detention Sergeant and Assistant Jail Administrator, has been assigned as the department’s new License and Weight Deputy.
Deputy Drake Murry, who has previously served as a Detention Officer, is now serving as a Patrol Deputy. Meanwhile, Nathan Kruger has been recognized as the department’s newest Detention Officer.
The office also welcomed Reserve Deputy Amber King, who brings experience from the Henderson Police Department, where she served on patrol, as a School Resource Officer, and on the TACT Team.
