Meet Jesse! She’s an 8-month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix and an absolute cuddlebug.

Jesse was found in town as a stray with her brother and sister. All three were taken in by Panola County Dog Rescue to get the care and love they needed. Jesse is now living with her foster family, the Bishops, while she finishes up her vet care—including being spayed.

She currently weighs around 35 pounds, is heartworm negative, and has started on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Jesse is great with other dogs, loves kids, and is as sweet as they come. She’s still young, full of love, and ready to grow up with her forever family.

Jesse will be available for adoption once she recovers from surgery and gets the all-clear from the vet.

To adopt Jesse or get involved in fostering dogs, contact Panola County Dog Rescue at 903-341-5355.

Panola County Dog Rescue is a not-for-profit dog rescue & sanctuary just east of Carthage in DeBerry, Texas. Our mission is to rescue dogs from the Panola County shelter at risk of being euthanized.
